Terms of use

Draft. Effective date to be confirmed.

These terms cover your use of HackathonFinder.in (“HackathonFinder”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them.

1. What HackathonFinder does

We find hackathons and similar events across the internet and list them in one place. We do not host events, run registrations or decide who can take part. Every listing links to the organizer’s official page, and registration happens there.

2. Accuracy

We check listings regularly and show when each one was last checked, but organizers can change dates, rules or prizes at any time. Always confirm details on the official page before you register or travel. We are not responsible for an organizer’s event, its prizes or its conduct.

3. Submitting events

When you submit an event, you confirm the information is public and correct to the best of your knowledge. We may edit submissions for clarity, merge duplicates or decline listings that look misleading, unsafe or spammy.

4. Community features

Be respectful on the Team Finder and in our channels. Don’t post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or someone else’s personal details. We may remove posts or accounts that break these rules.

5. Organizers

Organizers can claim, update or ask us to remove their listing. Paid options such as featured listings are covered by a separate agreement.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows and will note the date of the latest version here.
